About The Penny Plan

The Penny Plan exists to answer everyday money questions in plain English. Personal finance is buried in jargon, sales pitches, and fine print — and most people just want a straight answer to a normal question like “how big should my emergency fund be?” That’s what we write.

What we do

Every article starts from a real question and answers it clearly, without assuming you already speak the language of finance. We explain the idea, show why it matters, and stop before drowning you in detail.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell financial products, and we don’t give personalized advice. Everything here is general education. Your situation is your own, and for decisions that carry real weight, a qualified professional who knows your full picture is worth far more than any article. See our Disclaimer.
